INTRODUCTION:
Every saved child of God has been chosen by God for a purpose. But unfortunately today, many are not fulfilling the purpose for which God saved them. Today, as we study at His feet, may the Lord open our eyes to see the purpose for which He has chosen us in Jesus' Name.
1. HE CHOSE BECAUSE HE LOVED
God loved us even before we knew Him. From the womb of our mother, He has chosen us and ordained us to be an instrument of honor to Him. Matt. 22:14, Jn. 3:16, Jer. 1:5, Isa. 49:1-3, I Jn. 4:10, 19, Ex. 19:5, Deut. 14:2, I Pet. 2:9, Lk. 1:17, Acts 15:14, ll Tim. 2:20-22, Rm. 9:11-16, 21
2. HE CHOSE THAT WE MIGHT BEAR FRUITS
One of the reasons why God chose us is to bear fruits. He expects us to bear the fruit of repentance, holiness, fruits of the Holy Spirit, and win souls for Christ. Matt. 3:8-9, Rom.7:4, 6:22, Heb. 12:11, Matt. 13:8, Phl. 4:17, Gal. 5:22-23, Eph. 5:9-10, Mk. 16:15-16.
