INTRODUCTION:
In the last part of this series, we discovered that the sacrifice offered in disobedience and unrighteousness is vain and that rebellion is a terrible sin against God.
Today, as we continue in our studies, may the Lord teach us and shower His blessings upon us in Jesus Name.
1. WHAT MEN SAY OR WHAT GOD SAYS
Men of the world around you i.e. from your family, office, neighborhood, church e.t.c have a lot to say about you and the law of your God. It is better to hearken to the voice of God rather than those of men, as men's voices could be misleading and confusing.
I Sam. 15:24, I Cor. 14:10, I Pet. 1:24-25, Ps. 27:1, Ps. 118:6, Isa. 51:12-13, Prov. 29:25, Jn. 17:14-17, I Jn. 2:15-17, Exo. 23:2, Acts 4:18-19, Jer. 26:13.
2. WHEN GOD SAYS NO, WHO CAN SAY YES
Our God has the final say. Whenever He says no, no one can say yes and when He says yes, no one can say no.
However, before God's final “no”, He gives men enough opportunity for repentance and reconciliation because He is plenteous in mercy.
