INTRODUCTION
God has called us into a partnership with Himself. We are His
fellow workers. (Jn. 15:1-7,16). It is a great responsibility and Galso a great privilege to be in this position.
For us to be what God intended of us as partners we shall examine partnership in normal business and relate same of our call into God’ s vineyard.
May the Lord find us worthy to be His fellow workers in Jesus name, Amen.
A. WHAT IS A PARTNERSHIP?
Partnership is a relationship that exists between persons carrying on a business in common with a view of making a profit. As members of His family, ours is a family business. Rom. 8:14-17; Lk.12:32; Acts 26:18; Gal. 3:29; Jn. 17:24; 1Cor.2:9; Rev.3:21
B. WHAT IS THE COMMON BUSINESS?
God has called us to the business of establishing and building His Kingdom. Mt. 3:2;6:10; Mk. 1:14-15.
HOW SHALL THIS BE DONE?
1. We must be witnesses for Him - Acts 1:8; 2:14; 5:19-20; 1 Jn. 1:1-3; Lk. 11:2; 1 Pet. 2:9
2. We must be committed to the preaching of the Gospel. Mk. 16:15-16, 19-20; Matt. 28:20; Acts 10:1-6; Jn.15:16
3. We must be engaged in spiritual warfare - Eph. 6:10-13; 2 Tim. 2:3-5; Rom. 8:46; Gal. 2:20; I Sam. 15:1-3, I Jn.4:4.
4. We must do everything to hasten the coming of His Christ. Matt. 6:10; Heb. 9:28; 2 Pt. 3:10; Lk. 19:12-13; Mt. 24:14.
CONCLUSION Let His Kingdom come.
